Beta Tester Agreement

Effective date: July 16, 2026 · Version 2026-07-16.1. This Beta Tester Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and MUSLIM LANTERN LLC ("we", "us") and governs your participation in the Muslim Lantern beta program. It supplements — and where it conflicts, sits alongside — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What the beta is

You are receiving pre-release software distributed through TestFlight (iOS) or Google Play testing tracks (Android). Beta builds change often, and features you see may be reshaped or removed before public launch.

2. Confidentiality

Pre-release features, screens, content, and program communications are confidential until we release them publicly. Don’t post screenshots, recordings, or descriptions of unreleased features publicly (including social media) without our written OK. Feedback shared privately with us is always welcome — that’s the point.

3. No warranty — the app may be unstable

Beta software is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. It may crash, lose data, drain battery, or behave unpredictably. Don’t rely on beta builds for anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from beta use.

4. Your feedback

We hope you’ll tell us everything — bugs, ideas, complaints. You give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and build on any feedback you provide, without compensation or attribution. You confirm your feedback is your own and doesn’t knowingly infringe anyone’s rights.

5. Data during the beta

In addition to what the Privacy Policy describes, beta builds may collect extra crash reports, performance metrics, and usage diagnostics to help us find and fix problems. Device model and OS version are attached when you submit a ticket. Beta data is handled under the same protections as the Privacy Policy and is never sold.

6. Access and termination

Beta access is an invitation, not a right. We may add, suspend, or remove testers, pause the program, or end it entirely at any time, at our discretion, with or without notice. You can leave any time by deleting the app and asking us to remove you from the program.

7. General

This Agreement is governed by the same law and dispute terms as the Terms of Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update this Agreement; material changes will be shown in the app for re-acceptance before they apply to you.
